Dijon Bourgogne Airport is a passenger friendly airport located 6 kms from the city centre and offers easy accessibility and a quality of service for both businesses and the general population in the region.

Ideally located where Burgundy and Franche-Comté meet, Dijon Burgundy Airport offers more than 1 million people easy access to business, personal and family travel, not forgetting the vital role it plays in the infrastructure of the local economy and attractiveness of the region.

Dijon Burgundy Airport is in the midst of rapid development and is undergoing a renaissance, with upgrades to the runway to meet the technical requirements of medium haul aircraft, the refurbishement of the terminal, a new restaurant and much more.

This Renaissance includes the arrival of  Eastern Airways in September 2010 who selected Dijon from many other French airports as their hub to develop to launch scheduled flights to south and western France and to develop a hub into a major European airport.

A range of charters has been developed from Dijon Bourgogne Airport and 15 holidays destinations are now available from Dijon for summer 2012.

Supported by the Dijon Metropolitan Authority, the Côte-d'Or General Council and the Burgundy Regional Council, Dijon Bourgogne Airport has plans for  international scheduled flights to a number of European capital cities in the coming years. It has also been approached as a low-cost airline destination.

Dijon Bourgogne Airport shares the airport infrastructure with the Air Force Base 102. This provides 2000 jobs and 40 million euros worth of economic benefit to the  Burgundy region every year.

"Guynemer" Air Base 102 at Dijon is one of the oldest airfields in the air force. It goes back to Spring 1914 when the first observer units were formed.
By sharing runways with the military, Dijon Burgundy Airport benefits from state of the art safety and flight procedures equipment.
In addition, sharing civil and military traffic makes best use of the operating and investment costs required for both activities.

This combination of shared interests is one of the driving forces behind our future development.
